Advertisement of Sealed Bid Sale of Surplus Real Property Owned by Owen County Board of Education

Notice is hereby given that the Owen County School District will receive single sealed bids for surplus walk-in freezer (8’ x 10’) from Owen County Elementary School (located at 1945 Hwy 22E) until 2:00 p.m. local time on April 26th, 2017 at the Owen County Board of Education located at 1600 Hwy 22E, Owenton, Kentucky, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

WHEREAS, Kentucky Revised Statue 45A.425 and 45A.365 permits local agencies to sell surplus property by advertisement and sealed bids. The property surplus is offered for sale “as is”, with no warranties.  The removal of the freezer is the responsibility of the party that is awarded the bid and must contact the Director of Facilities to schedule removal dates.  The Owner requires Substantial Completion of the project on or before May 10th, 2017.  Specifications of the freezer can be found at the Owen County Board of Education or online at the school website www.owen.kyschools.us. 

The Owner reserves the right to accept any bid or to reject any or all bids, or parts of such bids, and waive informalities or irregularities in bidding.  For any additional information contact the Owen County Board of Education at (502) 484-3934.

Notice is hereby given that the Owen County School District will receive sealed bids for the furnishing of all labor, materials, transportation, equipment, and services to:

INSTALL HVAC SYSTEMS FOR OWEN COUNTY UPPER ELEMENTARY FOR OWEN COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION, OWEN COUNTY, KENTUCKY

 

The project consists of the installation of (3) three Bard HVAC units, electrical connections, and masonry work for any penetrations to the exterior of the building.

 

All sealed bids must be received from licensed HVAC contractors by 2:00 p.m. EST by March 15th, 2017, at the Owen County Board of Education Office, 1600 Hwy 22 E, Owenton, KY, 40359.

 

All late bids shall be deemed non-responsive and not opened.  Each bid shall be in accordance with all terms, conditions, plans, specifications and any other documents that comprise the bid package.  All interested Bidders can obtain specification narratives at the Owen County Board of Education Office.  Requests to visit the site must be made in advance with the Director of Facilities.

 

Selected contractor will be responsible to provide a certificate of liability and shall meet all regulatory requirements for this project.
