Dear Rebels,
 

I am beyond blessed and grateful to have been named the principal at Owen County High School and I look forward to working with every student and family that joins the Rebel community. My goal is to instill Rebel pride in our community, our school, and individual students. This will be accomplished by our teachers and students striving for excellence every day. 

Our purpose at OCHS is to provide opportunities and resources for students to develop perseverance and a passion for life-long learning. We are committed to making a positive impact on students by developing leadership, personal growth, career readiness and success.

To help you discover your purpose, one question to ask yourself is What is your “why”? My why is simple and it’s YOU! I ask that you come to school each day ready to learn and to work with goals that you want to achieve. The only thing left for you to do is show up and give your best effort. If you do those things, we will help you do just that! 

Finally, we must agree that no matter what challenges we will face, we can and will persevere. It is the REBEL way. This school year will have its share of ups and downs but it is essential to meet every challenge with the knowledge that if we continue to work hard and try our best, we can grow and become better teachers, students, and Rebels. We do not get to choose our situation but we are in control of our actions.
