NTI Meal Delivery Information/Google Form Link

Please complete the survey below regarding NTI meal deliveries. Remember that part of the NTI program is to provide our students and children in Owen County with meals. These meals would be provided to your child at school on a normal basis, so do not feel by accepting these meals that you are taking away from anyone else. We love this opportunity because it allows us to continue providing meals to our children in our community.

Power Pack Information

If your child normally receives a Power Pack, you can pick it up at the Owen County Lower Elementary School from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, March 20th.  For more information, contact Janetta Briscoe at 502-484-4014 or Becky Mefford at 502-484-4017.

Non Transported Student Information

Parents of students who are not transported to school by bus will need to make arrangements for pickup, or delivery, of their child's instructional packet and food by calling the middle school at 502-484-5701.

Students Can Read at Home

Students may utilize online services from Owen County Public Library including the Libby and Hoopla app to read at home.  These services are free and provide eBooks, Audiobooks, Magazines, and music.  To utilize these services, students will need to be an existing patron of the Owen County Public Library and have their library card number available.  Download the app, find our library (Owen County Public Library in Kentucky), log in using your library card number and PIN.  Most often the PIN number is the last 4 digits of the library card number.  Please note, if the library card is expired or if fines are owed, the log in process will not be successful.

Owen County Schools Information

Upon recommendation from Governor Beshear, Owen County Schools will transition to Non-Traditional Instruction (NTI) days beginning Monday, March 16th.  As of now, regular classes will resume and students will report back to school after Spring Break on Monday, April 13th.  During this period, students will not report to school and will receive instruction via online platforms and prepackaged teacher assignments.  Please be aware this could change and NTI days, or school closure, could be extended based on further recommendations by Governor Beshear and state health agencies.
